iphone stuck in reboot loop

hi I know a lot of people are stuck in a reboot loop, and other people just advise them to do a restore, how ever I am stuck in a reboot loop, and I have tried to do a restore, but I get the error message 3194, so I cant do a restore. and when I try to start my phone up again it goes back to the apple logo with the loading icon and does not load. it stays there for a few mins then the loading icon goes for a few mins then returns.
I left the phone on overnight but it still didn't load.

p.s1: I am running f/w 4.1
p.s2 I have tried recovery mode and dfu mode (I think) and it still wont let me restore I get the same message

edit: this happened after i did a reset (settings>genral>reset all)

Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the gs.apple.com server on ports 80 or 443. This may be because out-of-date or incorrectly configured security or firewall software is interfering, or an entry in your hosts file is redirecting requests to gs.apple.com, or due to your Internet proxy settings. If you are using a proxy, try without using one or with a known-good network. Disable all security software on your computer/router.
