Can't Update - iPhone server unavailable
I have a new iphone and can't update to iOS 4.2.1 on my Mac.
The update downloads, extracts and then stops with the following error message : "The iPhone cannot be updated at this time because the iphone software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable"
My software is up to date, I have tried rebooting, running without USB devices connected and turning the firewall off.
I had the same problem with my iPad and ended up using an 8 year old PC which updated straight away. The PC is on the same network so it can't be a network problem.
Can anyone help.
Thanks John
