iPod touch 4G over heating?

Okay just got my 3rd iPod touch this time the fourth gen and after a while of using the Internet or playing a game like the sims three the top of my iPod will heat up pretty hot around the camera area front and back. I can still hold it, just. But I don't know if this is doing the components any good as this is some pretty high heat, does any one know what components is behind that area ssd? Do you think this is a fault and I should take it back again? Thanks IPod touch 4G 32GB 4.2 iOS (late 2010)
