iOS 4.2.1 slower than iOS 4.1
Recently I updated my iPod touch 4g from iOS 4.1 to 4.2 but I am experiencing the substantial speed difference like in menu interface and in launching and minimizing applications. I assume it isn't natural.
I updated by first downloading the iOS 4.2.1 ipsw file (legit n of exactly proper size) from apple servers and then placing the same in itunes 'apple software update' folder. Update was successfully installed. Then I restored some data(notes, photos, settings n other data) by restoring a backup that I had previously extracted(backup files) manually from iPod 'backup' folder before updating from 4.1 to 4.2. I felt the speed difference right after playing with the menu of freshly updated iPod. Have I gone wrong somewhere, Can someone spot the culprit?
