IPad Camera Connection Kit wont read SD Card

What files are you trying to "see"? The CCK will only see/import photo and video of of he proper format if:
- they are in a DCIM folder that is in the root directory of the card.
- The file name must be exactly eight, simple characters
- Thee may be other restrictions too but I do not remember.

When you connect the CCK with the SD card does the iPad show a dialog box? You should get at lead a No Photos message since you have the DCIM folder. Make sure the CCK is fully inserted and that a case in not preventing full insertion.

Try resetting your iPad:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the
Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

One thing I noticed is that you have to have the IPAD powered off.
Then insert the SD dongle in the connect port. Then power on the IPAD.
Last insert the SD card, then it opens Photos with the camera tab open.
What is really bad is that you can't view or slide-show pictures without importing to the IPAD! I mean come on why can't I just view them from the SD card directly!!!

I also bought an CCK. It worked at first. I just tried it out. Put in SD card and photos loaded. I didn't upload any. Was just trying it out. Then I connected my I phone with USB kit and uploaded those pictures. That worked. Then went back to SD card with connector and nothing happened. Connected reconnected. Didnt seem to recognize anything. Took another photo with my iPhone and tried to upload it with USB connector and didn't recognize it either. Nothing happens now when I plug in connection kit and with USB or SD card versions. Disappointed. Seemed too good to be true
