Question

iPod stuck on Apple logo screen

My iPod touch 4th gen is stuck on the Apple logo screen, and every 10 minutes or so it will switch to a white screen with a shadow at the very top, then it will reboot to the same apple logo. I've tried holding down sleep and home at the same time for a while, but it just reboots to the same apple logo. I'm confused, plz help.

EDIT: OK, I held down the home and sleep for a little while longer, and it moved to the screen with the usb cable pointing to an iTunes logo. Does this mean I have to wipe everything on it?

I got it to restore from the backup, so no more troubles.

iam having the exact same problem with my itouch but the biggest problem is i try to put the ipod into DFU mode and it does not work either. i only get the apple logo, white screen, and logo again

Im having the same problem at the moment. When you restored it did you lose all your photos and info on your device ?
