Recboot for 10.4.11

Long story short, I have the old OS for the phone on my system, but can't get out of recovery mode. Every single link I find for the recboot that I need is not working. Anyone have a fix to get 10.4.11 to open a recboot, I have Itunes 9.2.1.

In addition, although contacts, notes, and photos in the Camera Roll are included with your iPhone's backup, contacts and notes are designed to be synced with a supported app on your computer, and photos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.

With a Mac you can sync contacts with the Address Book, and notes with the Mail.app. Photos can be imported from the Camera Roll with iPhoto or with the Image Capture application.

Not a good idea to depend on your iPhone or any cell phone alone for this data which can be lost or stolen. And if a problem develops with your iPhone's backup in regards to this data and your contacts are not available on your computer as well and photos in the Camera Roll are not imported ASAP after being captured or on a regular basis, all this data can be lost.

By posting here you have agreed to Apple's terms on this discussion forum. Generally speaking the only people using RecBoot are people who have hacked the iPhone, which is not supported by Apple nor by this user forum. I don't believe Apple supports software like RecBoot either, which is why it would have been edited by the host.

Is there a reason why the iPhone is in recovery mode?

The supported method to get rid of it would be to restore the iPhone using iTunes. If you have backups saved of the iPhone you can restore from a backup, otherwise you will need to set it up as a new device.

No, I am not trying to hack the phone. Heres the long version of what happened :

I got a new MacBook Pro. When I plugged in my 3g Iphone into it, it prompted me to put on the new software, well, of course I wanted the new software. I did so, and when finished I realized I deleted all my contacts/texts/pics. Not a problem, even though I didn't back up the phone on the new Macbook before I installed, I was backed up on my mac mini. So I plugged the phone into the old computer w/ Itunes 9.2.11 and it says that itunes can't recognize the device, and I need to upgrade Itunes. Well the operating system on my old mac mini wont support 10.4. So again, no problem, I'll put on the old software back on the phone, do a restore from back up, then put the phone on the on the new MacBook and back it up before doing the upgrade. Well, guess what, I'm stuck in recovery mode at the step where I am installing the old software on the phone, but I can't get it out of recovery mode.

Did I explain that clearly enough? So as a temporary fix I just put the new software on the phone, but I have absolutely no contacts. Who wants to be that guy, "hey who's this sry I lost my numbers" Not to mention all my gps waypoints, notes, and so on.

(I'm not sure what term I violated either by saying that this was the first time apple disappointed me - nor did I have malicious intent by the comment - I'm disappointed by Microsoft every day, once isn't bad when you look at it that way!)

Thanks for any advice, I can't believe I can't figure this one out either, it's bugging me.
