my ipod camera screen wont open

Have you tried reseting your iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

The same thing happend to me, i dont know what to do or how to fix it:/

The reset I specified will not delete anything. If it still does not work after:
- reseting
- Restore from backup via iTunes
- Restoring to factory defaults

Then either call AppleCare or make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your APple Store. Some other users have reported that the shutter on the camera stuck and Apple had to replace the iPod.

is this matter resolved ???

it happen to me as well, camara did not open, what are you doing in this regards, what kind of suppoer did you get ?

i been trying to restore, uninstall and install back the device, still not working. this really make me feel worry.

i'm having the same problem. the shutter wont open.

Some other users with "stuck" shutters have had to get their iPod replaced.
