How to Add to home screen ? On iPad

Hi I have the latest update on my iPad but when I touch the little box with the arrow NXT to address bar ,I don't get The Add to home screen selection so does anyone know how I do this now? I have searched the forum but can't find an answer THANKYOU

Hi,

Tap Settings / Safari. Clear the History, Cookies, and Cache.

Restart your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.

Now tap the Safari icon and try, "Add to Home Screen".

Hi .yes i get the same as you but on a video tutorial it had a + symbol & you click that & the drop-down menu said those 3 and ADD TO HOME SCREEN but they have removed the + symbol now so thats why I dont know how to add to home screen anymore & what i mean by a web app is I have a FREE APP CALLED 'SPLICE" & when I load it up it says whatch the vid tutorials & a little youtube web app you can add appears & says tap on the arrow & add to home screen but i dont know how to get it on the screen?

What i mean by a web app is

If I find a page on my ipad on safari ,usually if I wanted to save that page as a web app I could tap the + symbol then id get an option to ADD TO THE HOMESREEN ,I can do this on my iphone,no problem & the web app is looks like a normal app but is grey with an apple in middle & saves like an itunes app on screen OMG ,why did they remove the plus symbol? Wat a pain in the butt !
