Dose the mic show up in system profiler?
Apple menu, about this mac, more info button, usb from the list on the left. See if the mic shows up on the list.

if it doesn't show up in System Profiler, you may want to:
reset SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
reset NVRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
Try a different USB cable.
Try another Mac.

If the device shows up under system profiler
see if it shows up in system preferences sound.

you may also want to contact blue for technical support. http://www.bluemic.com/salesandsupport/support.html

Good luck, let me know if this helps
