smart playlist order

Hello,
I have itunes 10.1.1.4 and I want to make a smart playlist that includes the most recent unplayed podcasts from several different podcast sources. I made a smart playlist for each podcast source that shows what i want, but when i made a 'master' smart playlist that combines all the other smart playlists, I can't get them in the order I want. I don't want to sort by release time or name or anything like that, I want them in an order based on an order that I specify (important podcast shows first, less important ones that I may not get to towards the end...)

Any suggestions?

One thing that I have been trying is to change the 'album name' for each podcast source to have 01, 02, 03 in front of it, and then sort by album name in the master smart playlist. This works, but all the new downloads don't have the edited name.

If anyone knows how to rename a podcast in a way that all the new downloads will contain the edit, that would possible solve this problem.

The webservice is a year old and still works so I guess it will be around for a while.

I will leave this un-answered since someone may have a more simple solution for me.
