I just bought an HP laserjet 1102w printer today for my Macbook Pro, and while I got the USB connectivity and drivers working, I couldn't figure out how to configure the wireless access. Fortunately I stumbled on this youtube video that shows precisely how, in a clear, step by step manner.
I figured I should share it, since it appears there is no mention of it elsewhere.
The video was helpful. In fact the procedure is simple (they could have mentioned them in the manual!):
1. With the printer plugged into USB, use printer's HTML Config Utility, choose Networking menu, click on Infrastructure (KEY POINT!) and choose the name of your existing network, click on <<, and then type in your network's password and click Apply.
2. After this, add the wireless printer (in the System Preferences > Print & Fax, add new printer
by clicking + sign, and choosing HP LaserJet Professional P1102w Bonjour).
The video is very good, no doubt, but I still have a problem and it involves the HTMLConfig file.In my first attempt to install the HP1102w, the networking buttons in the HTMLConfig would NOT operate. Since then, the HTMLConfig file has been completely empty, and I have no idea how to restore its contents. Can anyone advise me on this? Much obliged.

I have discovered the answer to my own question: you can download the driver a thousand times and it will simply reproduce the same problem UNLESS YOU RESET the printer each time. Once I reset the printer and opened the driver my problem--unable to open HTMLConfig--disappeared. Of course, other problems more fundamental between the driver and the Mac OS did not disappear, and they continue to plague the completion of a wireless connection for the HP1102w.
In order to get the HTMLConfig window to open, Safari must be set as your default browser, AND the name of the printer must still be set to the default (HP LaserJet Professional P1102w, for me).
