Power cycle iPhone 4 seems to "fix" alarm clock problem

As suggested by another poster, power cycling the iphone fixes the alarm problem... I'm (re-posting) this point under its own thread topic to better highlight the fix..

Detail-- iPhone non-recurring alarm failed after the new year.. There were claims that it would "fix itself" on 11/3... but for this to happen, it appears that the phone must be "power cycled".
After doing so, the phone's non-recurring alarm worked without problem.
