Regularly losing connection to bluetooth keyboard

Hello,

my imac regularly loses connection to bluetooth keyboard (apple). It is back in a few seconds, so no real trouble, but I am afraid this may lead to something worse. This happens 3-4 times a day.

At the same time, when keyboard loses connection, airport connection indication on the menu, also stops showing connection time and drops from 4 lines (very good connection) to 3 lines.

Just enabled interference robustness, will see if that helps. But is it possible bluetoooth interferes with wireless internet?

Bluetooth phone also lies around and bluephoneelite running all the time on the imac.

thanks in advance.

For the last 24 hours my phone's bluetooth was turned off and no problem of keyboard connection. Though not used my mac a lot during the time.

This being a possible solution, do you know any way I can use adress book with my motorola v535? If not and motorola is really not supporting mac platform can you recommend another phone brand? Nokia, maybe?

I am asking because BluePhoneElite software could the problem, not motorola or bluetooth. I can't use adress book, so I tried using bluePhone. But it seems it is not possible. Good I have not bought it yet.

Have you checked the battery status on the keyboard - System Preferences - Keyboard and Mouse - Bluetooth Keyboard (writing this from memory but somewhere in the system prefs).

My battery has taken a hammering on the bluetooth keyboard and when low does similiar.

I have both a Palm T3, a Sony Ericsson mobile and my partners Motorola Razr regularly lying around the mac without any interference

So, it is 48 hours as I am working with my BluePhoneElite turned off and no problem of keyboard. This seems to confirm the problem this application has problems with wireless bluetooth keyboard (at least that one of apple).

What I am seeking now is the solution to send sms with adress book service through my motorola v535 phone. But that is already posted by me here - http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=1343104#1343104

Dainius,

Re: RAZR + Address Book.

I will check but pretty sure thats what i got working. We backed up her Palm to the Mac, added the Razr to the iSync application and then effectively pushed all her contacts, diary etc on to the Rarz.

we did have some issues with multiple numbers tied to a single contact coming out as seperate contacts but nailed that with some selective grouping of contacts (dumping all but the important ones).

Hope this helps.

Hello, Jay,

let me ask for clarification - were you succesful in sending SMS or dialing your RAZR with mac? These functions are available in adress book with succesfuly connected bluetooth phones. What I can't succeed to do is connect my mac to my phone in a way that would let me send SMS and make dialing.

I am succesful in sinchronizing calendar and contacts though.
