No Option To Authorize iPad's Music

New iPad, love it like everything else Apple. Only problem so far is there is no option to authorize the iPad for the music I have synced to it...

Am I not looking in the right place?

Authorization is not required. Just open the iPod app and the music will be there.

Yes the music is there...why would I keep getting the pop up window in iTunes saying the device needs to be authorized then?

Does the message indicate which device? Perhaps it means your Mac.

iPads are not authorized or deauthorized. The computer is.
What is the exact wording of the message?

Alright this is making sense now. I didn't think the iPad needed authorizing....

Some time ago I combined a couple of iTunes libraries from different machines...all purchased music came from the same account. Some of the music may have come from file sharing sources. No way to sort it all out at this point but that's when this authorization thing started. Basically, the pop up says some files could not be transferred because authorization blah blah.

I understand what's going on now. The pop up has nothing to do with the iPad.
