Cant download Inception- Err: 9006

So every time I attempt to download Inception I get an Error 9006 at about 3-4 MB into the download. I could download other things so I don't know whats up. Ive tried deleting my downloads folder like it said to do in other threads but that didn't fix the problem.

I went to iTunes/Preferences/Store and checked automatically download prepurchased content. I did this after I reset the iTunes cache and changed streaming buffer size to large ( iTunes/Preferences/Advanced) and deleting downloads. I went so far as to connect via ethernet vice wi-fi too. Then I checked for available downloads. Caveat, I was downloading a song at 8.5MBs vice a podcast or movie/episode. I am also using a cable modem with DL speed I just clocked at 23.42mbps. I do not have third party software (I.e. a web accelerator).

I solved this on my own. It's a combination of Itunes sucking at resolving to it's own server and windows not turning off the firewall when i told it to.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit, and when I turned off the firewall and restarted I got the same error. Below is how I fixed the issue.

In an Admin account.

Go to Control panel> administrative tools> services> stop both windows firewall and microsoft antimalware services.

start itunes and start download.

restart both services (download can continue to run with services running.)

itunes downloaded about 10% of inception before giving me the error 9006. I stopped the firewall and restarted the download. itunes downloaded about 90% of the movie before giving me the error 9006 again. I've tried turning off the firewall again several times and tried to restart the download but it keeps giving me the error 9006. I've downloaded 2 other movies since trying to download inception and they downloaded without problem. I even upgraded from IE7 to IE8 as one user suggested but still no luck.

Had the same issue. Did all of the above. Turned off firewall and antivirus, set Internet ver(9) to lowest setting on slider, disabled my router use of OpenDNS as well as the dsl modems use of OpenDNS, and rebooted the modem and router, cleared the cache of itunes. went to command prompt and used command ipconfig /flushdns. No success. On every attempt I deleted the iTunes download directory. It wasn't until I unchecked "Always check for available downloads" and then re-applied the check did it work. Maybe it is coincidence??
