iPod touch keeps turning on and off

Hello i have a 3rd Generation iPod touch 32gb with 4.1 firmware. my iPod keeps turning on and off when it get to the apple logo start up screen. Whats wrong with it?

iPod Touch 32gb 3rd generation, Windows 7, 4GB RAM 3 700Gb HD

Have you tried:
- resetting it:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the
Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring it from backup via iTunes
- Restoring it to factory defaults via iTunes.
