What is the MBP's battery (in Watts)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I don't seem to be reading my MBP's AC adaptor correctly.
I'm going overseas in a week and I need to use my MBP so I bought a Recoton Voltage converter kit. The converter says to only plug in items that are 500-1600 W and to not use anything outside of those numbers (whether under than 500 W or over 1600 W). I was wondering where my MBP placed within that 'W' range.

Thanks.

The Apple Rechargeable Battery for 15-inch MacBook Pro is a 60-watt-hour lithium polymer battery.
The 55-watt rechargeable lithium polymer battery is compatible only with the white, 13-inch MacBook.
The Apple Rechargeable Battery for 15-inch MacBook Pro (aluminum unibody) is a 50-watt-hour lithium polymer battery.

I find it weird that the instructions for the Voltage Converter is saying it's main use is for products such as radios, stereos, hair dryers, etc. and the range of the converter is from 500-1600W. This would mean that each of those smaller appliances falls between that Watt range.

Is the MBP wall charger only really 50-60W? Or am I not converting some numbers correctly?
