today i closed my ipad by just pressing the button on the top.. ande then when i tried to open it, it wouldnt.. it doesnt open neither when i plug it at the cable to charge it nor at the pc... the pc actually cant even see it... its like a blackout whta can i do in order to make it work again?
I had the same exact problem today but the reset doesn't work (holding down the on/off switch and the Home button until you see the Apple logo). It's all black and doesn't budge... HEEEELP!!
i've experienced the same problem with my iPad... only recently too. i've had it since december, but it just started surfacing this march.
I wasn't able to reset it either, like my fingers hurt from pressing both the button on the top and the home button. i brought it to the apple store and they couldn't restart it either, in fact, the PC couldn't even read my iPad. Anyway, i connected it to my laptop at home, and then it had this message like i had to restore this iPad or something like that...so i did that. and i restored everything to factory settings. it was okay for a while, until yesterday... won't open and this time around my laptop can't detect it. How annoying. X_X
Worked fine for me, thank you very much! you saved me a trip to the store. Ive treated my ipad like a baby, no over use, no bumps/hits, good charge, etc. Why does the blackout happens and why do you have to reset it to work again?
