Hey I was just using my ipod and I was on my home screen, and turned away and when I came back it wouldn't turn on. I tried every solution I could find. I plugged it into my computer but iTunes won't recognize it.

I tried resetting it, by holding the home and power button for ten seconds. If anyone has a solution I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

    Hello Donavadam,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!

Sometimes, you have to hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together for much longer than 10 seconds.

Have you tried resetting it with it connected to a power source?

I would wait for about a minute or so. No response at all though?

Perhaps you should let it rest for a couple of hours and come back to it.

And if worse comes to worse, make a trip to your local Apple store or Genius Bar and see what they can do for you.
