Same happens to me on iPhone 4S while trying to redirect from Gmail to Google+ or signnig in in YouTube app via verifying security code. Goolge tries to redirect to verify your account but safari denies.
Same here, for me and others I know. iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, intranet sites that used to work from our phones stopped working as recent as the past week. (let this just please be a phase).
I was having the same issue today. However, everything was fine after I turned my phone off and back on. I felt like an idiot, but it worked.
In my case, I stumbled onto an issue that lead me to try "allow cookies from visited sites" in settings, which seemed to have fixed the issue for me and at least one other.
I experienced same problem, here is how i resolved it.
Goto "Settings" -> "Safari" -> scroll down to "databases".
Here you see all the accounts you logged in using yahoo/gmail mail or others.
Edit this page and remove everything, now try again it should work.
Like @sgaynor, I had to change the Safari settigns from "Accept Cookies: Never" to "Accept Cookies: Visited"
In my scenario, a business man w/his iPad couldn't access our intranet which we expose as an extranet via the Microsoft Universal Access Gateway (UAG) and he was getting the "too many redirects" message from Safari on what should have been a login screen.
I changed my Safari settings and that seemed to do the trick. I have an iPhone 4 and recently updated the software to iOS6, and that is when the problem started. Never had a problem with the older, original software.
