Calendar showing year 2554 BE

My calendar is showing year 2554 BE as the year. What is going on and how do I fix it?

I saw this earlier today with another iPhone. Your phone is set to the wrong calendar (it's set to the Buddhist calendar and not the Gregorian calendar).

Go to:

Settings>General>International>Calendar

In that menu, change your calendar from Buddhist to Gregorian and your dates will show correctly.

You need to write apple and have them pay you...I had the same issue, called AT&T support, they didn't know what to do; transferred to Apple iPhone support, they didn't know, hung up on me and didn't bother to call back...sad pisspoor cust service. I digressed, lol, so...yeah, they didn't correct the issue. I had restored my phone TWICE in one day trying to fix that! Thanks; your info helped a lot my dude! But the next question is...how did it get changed? My date and time has always been set to automatic...
