Shift/CAPS for entering password

I'm trying to get into a website with username and password login. When I press the shift key on the keyboard and enter in a capital letter the website says to turn off CAPS lock and it will not let me enter a password with uppercase letters.
The issue is caps lock is not on, only the shift key is pressed. Enable CAPS lock is turned off in the settings, along with auto capitalization for good measure. The website is "www.foragentsonly.com" you can try it yourself. Just try to enter a capital letter.
I've also tried several browser applications, none work. This is a problem for iPad and iPhone.

iPhone, iOS 4

More so with thier site code. They have javascript running "trying" to help a user. For touch devices pressing shift sort of does what caps lock does for one key as that is what has to be done for touch devices.

Best you can do is contact site owner and tell them to update their site code to deal with mobile devices.

Also you can try to disable javascript in Safari settings prior to going to site, then turn back on once in.

You have found a bug 🙂

I tried it in Safari and the freeware Atomic Web Browser, and it behaved exactly as you said.

You can type your password into a Note, select it, cut it, and Paste it into the password field as a horrible, ugly, warty work around.

My guess is, whatever Progressive is doing to detect the Caps Lock key, they're doing it in a way that doesn't work with iOS/iPhone

Note that this example site for detecting Caps Lock also fails for me on iOS and the desktop http://javascript.internet.com/forms/check-cap-locks.html
