Mouse cursor speed dependent on the mouse

Hello,
I have an iMac and the wired Mighty mouse, but now I'm using the wireless version, since my desk is often full of things and a cable would be a problem.
I also have Logitech RX 250 I use for games, since I need scrolling by lines for the weapons and I need both buttons at the same time (the Mighty accepts only one).

The problem is: when I use the Logitech also for desktop use (it has no lags, it feels much different and responsive), I find it way faster than the Mighty. Every time I have to go to the preferences and set 1 step above the minimum for the RX 250 (1000 dpi) and one or two after the middle for the Mighty (a Logitech 400 dpi optical mouse I had never needed such high speed!).

Is there a way to have both mice connected at the same time and to have independent settings for each of them (I mean, every USB and Bluetooth device has a model ID, it should be possible) or at least a way to change the settings automatically when I connect/disconnect the Logitech? (I always keep the Mighty connected).

Should I file a bug report/enhancement in the Feedback page? this feature (independent sensitivity setting) should be already there, since nowadays mice have different resolutions and therefore speeds!

I also just tested the wired mighty. Overall the speed is comparable to the wireless version, just a bit faster when I move fast, comparable if I move slowly (maybe it sends more data and the acceleration curve can be better applied). Still slower than the Logitech.
Batteries in the Mighty are ok, more than 40% and the problem is always there, independent from the charge level.

I wrote to the author of SteerMouse to ask for the feature. Since this is a matter of changing the sensitivity, not the acceleration, and his driver shows both settings, he is the best person to contact. Apple would never make a system preferences panel so complicated to take into account different mice! It would make things difficult for most people.
