I called Applecare about this, since the app store support page seems to be non-existant. The lady I spoke to was very friendly, but could not find any direct support options for the Mac App Store. She directed me to use the email form on the itunes app store support page at http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ . I've done that, and they apparently have 48 hours to respond to me.
I also purchased Lego Harry Potter and when i tried to download the app recieved the same error. I am very disappointed to be having these problems considering the $50 I spent to buy the app in the first place.
I purchased the Kid Pix 3D through the app store with same problem. Apple said this is probably due to the app store being brand new. They had me contact the software provider who is now working with Apple to get this solved for me. Disappointing for sure but think they will get it working.
same with me bbut i managed to get it downloading even though not in app store and when i tried to open it it kept quitting on its own this is extremely dissapointing!
I am sorry that you have experienced a problem when downloading LEGO Harry Potter from the App Store.
It seems that there were problems with the App Store after yesterday's launch - we suspect that this could have been caused by the size of the application that you were trying to download. We are currently working with Apple and hope to have it resolved later today.
As you may already know, LEGO Harry Potter is currently unavailable on the App Store. We're working with Apple to fix the problem, but it's unlikely to be back on the store until after the weekend. In the meantime, if you've already bought it from the App Store, we want you to be able to play the game! So here's what we're going to do: If you purchased the game from the App Store, you will have received an email receipt with an order number. Forward that email receipt to us at at hogwarts@feralinteractive.com, and we'll email you a link to download the game from our website, and a Product Key to activate it.
Thanks for your patience, everyone… it's going to be a long weekend!
