Removing duplicate songs from library

I recently moved my music to an external hard drive and deleted the files from my internal hard drive after ensuring that the files copied correctly. Now I have 2 listings for each song in my library. One has the old address (the file has been deleted) and one with the new address which works fine. How can I get rid of the duplicate listings from my library?

Assuming all the old entries have the exclamation mark next to them (because the old file has been deleted), then you can use this script: http://ottodestruct.com/itunes/RemoveDeadTracks.txt

Download the file (right click, save as), rename it to RemoveDeadTracks.js, then double click it to run it. It'll go through the iTunes Library and remove all the entries with a ! next to them.
