Hi!

Well, I just downloaded the App Store for Mac in the 10.6.6 Software Update. After the restart, I launched the App Store and I tried to log in... After 8 seconds underneath where it has "Apple ID:" it says: Connection Failed. And I've looked at the Help section and it told me to check the internet connection, which is okay because I'm browsing the internet right now... And the other one said to check the time zone and stuff is correct and here is the original text:

"If you’re having trouble using App Store, try these solutions:

If you see a message that your computer can’t connect to App Store, make sure your Internet connection is working. If you can open a web browser and view a website, there may be a problem with the store. Try using App Store again later.

Make sure your computer’s date, time, and time zone are set correctly in Date & Time preferences. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Date & Time.

Make sure your Apple ID information is accurate and that you don’t need to correct a problem with a previous purchase. To verify your Apple ID information and review your purchase history, choose Store > View My Account or click Account in the Quick Links section."

Any help?

I've also tried restarting my mac.

Hi, I had this exact same problem.

To fix it for me:

Open iTunes
Agree to terms and conditions etc. if applicable
Log in to iTunes Store with AppleID through iTunes
Quit iTunes
Open Mac App store and log in using AppleID

This worked for me, so hope it works for you.
