Change the burn order?

I have some songs I want to burn to a CD. I don't want them burned by Name or Artist or Album or any category available I want to burn them in any order I want. Can this be done? Thanks for any suggestions and please don't tell me I have to do something crazy like put numbers in front of the track names.

I'm not sure what kind of CD you are trying to make.

iTunes: How to set the play order of songs on an MP3 CD - [http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2455]

To set the order of tracks in a playlist in iTunes you can view it in list view, then click on the top of the first, untitled, column for manual sort order.

Create the playlist.
Select the very first column header (with the numbers).
Drag the songs up/down in the order you want. then burn.

Note that when you view the audio CD in iTunes, the tracks will be sorted in the order of the column header you have selected and may or may not be in the same order as they are actually burned on the CD.

Select the audio CD then select the very first column header (with the numbers).
