HEY VIBES

This is regarding your post about setting up a multi-timbral audio instrument. I followed your instructions, and I now have an multitimbral audio object with 8 channels selected, cabled to an audio instrument boject which I have assigned to a sequencer track. I can select different channels of the VI by changing the MIDI channel on the audio instrument parameter box. However, I still can't figure out how to select different MIDI channels for this instrument on different sequencer tracks. Setting MIDI channel select to "all" does NOT work for this particular plug-in. Is there a way to select different "sub-instruments" on different tracks that I'm missing? Thanks again for your help.

Hi qp...sorry to leave you hanging...you are almost there...be sure when creating new mult instruments you name them something specific by clcicking in the window to te left in the audio enviornment..otherwise will show up labeled as ""multi Instrument"...in arrange window...which is OK as long as you only use one instance...
In the arrange window create a new track then hold down on the track..you should see a menu of audio instruments/midi instruments...and seperate pull downs for as many of the multi instruments you initially set up in the audio enviornment..
Hope this helps
