Ray will be missed. His were posts I always made time to read in the L4 Water Cooler. He showed such an inspiring attitude towards not letting his ailments drag him down. Please accept our sympathy towards you and your mother and the whle family.

My condolences to your family. I only knew Ray from the Level 4 Lounge, but I always loved his sense of humo(u)r. It amazed me how he never let all of his medical problems interfere with life.

I really appreciate you posting this news to us. It's very sad to hear but I hope your family knows how much your father was a wonderfully-generous hearted man who helped total strangers in the night. These boards will not be the same without him.

So very sorry for your loss, Herb. Like others, I only knew Ray through the Level 4 Lounge here on the discussions, but I learnt an immense amount from reading his posts.

A sad day for us all, but thank you for placing this message online and letting us all know.

I am so, so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I considered him a personal friend.

No matter how poorly he was feeling, he always had a word of encouragement for those who needed help, and set the bar for those who wanted to help others, as well.

Ray was smart, funny and an inspiration to all. To say he will be sorely missed is an understatement. His absence in this world is a void that will be impossible to fill.

Ray - I hope, whereever you are, you know that we are all wavin' and smilin' back at you.
