Change country code on AirPort Extreme

Hello, some one there know how to change the country code on the onboard AirPort Extreme.
right now it on us, and i need it to be eu, so that i can reach channel 12 and 13

You can't change the country code in your adapter. Luckily, the OS sets it up based on the country code set on the router ou AP that first reaches your computer.


There is a protocol called 802.11d that, when implemented in a wifi device, sends the country code to a compatible adapter (as airport extreme adapters). The adapter sets it up when switching on only. You can see this is console, after startup.


Therefore, good news is that it works if the routers ou APs are configured correctly. Bad news, on the other hand, is that you can't do much if the devices as incorrectly set up.
