Roland SRX Expansion in my XV-5050
Hello.
I have the SRX-04 expansion card in my XV-5050. I have no problems playing the stock sounds of the XV from the multi-instrument I've created in Logic. I harvested that multi from the XV environment found on swiftkick.com. But I can't figure out how to set, see and select the expansion card patches from within the patch selector in Logic. I know I might have to manually type in the 128 patch names...unless someone knows of an existing one I can use, and that's fine, but I can't even seem to access it. And, honestly, after years of using Logic I still haven't completely wrapped my head around how the Bank Message thing works with MIDI multi-instruments. I've gotten so used to using soft synths, my MIDI savvy has diminished.
