Never had any problems with ipod until today. It went into washing maching. What can I do to dry it out without damage? Or is it too late.

Dry it off as best you can. Do NOT use a blow dryer or canned air. Do NOT plug it in or try to turn it on. Wrap it in a tissue and put it in a container of dry, uncooked rice for 2-3 days. Then, charge it up and keep your fingers crossed. You may get lucky. However, even if it does come back to life, the warranty is void.

Best of luck.

Dont give up hope! My daughters Nano went through a full cycle before Christmas. Left it on a radiator for a week to dry out thinking it would be dead, but it works! I Tunes still recognises it, I can still sync it and it will play on a speaker doc, it was just the screen that did not work, so you could not choose songs and take pot luck, but hey presto the screen has suddenly started working as well. Ours works for what we need it to do, a few functions still dont work - menu click, but the thing is it still works and the sound is fine! Good luck.
