iCal widget displays events double

Hello fellow Mac users,

A bit of a silly thing: on my MBP the iCal widget in Dashboard shows every iCal event (in the third pane, after clicking the big date once or twice) two times.

I don't care much about Dashboard widgets, but this one I think is actually handy. I would like to see it work right.

I tried deleting my calendar from iCal and importing it again. I also deleted the cache. At no avail.

Anybody out there with a solution?

I too have no answer, but I have had some very annoying instances of not being able to send events and not being able to reply to invitations. I'll follow the thread and maybe we'll get help.

I'd like to go back to non-calDAV use. Help?

I told you it was silly. Well silly it certainly was I found out today.

One calendar I publish I also subscribed to, on the same computer in the same iCal.
The subscribed calendar I kept disabled in iCal, but the widget didn't seem to care.
Hence the doubles in the iCal Dashboard widget.

I simply never thought it would work that way. (Why would I want to see in the iCal widget something I have turned off in iCal?)
