Jan 14, 2011 1:30 PM in response to a solution in sight?by PT,OK so if you plug it into either charger does it charge up and work fine? But then if you start playing a video through the AV cable it will deplete the battery while still plugged in? -

While it doesn't seem unusual that the iPod might slowly discharge while watching a movie while plugged in if video uses more energy than the charger can supply. However only one hour seems short assuming a good battery.
Perhaps your battery is getting too old and it is time to change it? How much time do you get on a full charge listening to music? Or watching video unplugged?
