Apple iPad Case cannot standing

It was not made correctly. Take it back.

Although the design is very similar, the case in your photos just doesn't look like an Apple case to me. The material appears wrong, details around the edge aren't quite as clearly defined, proportions are a bit off, and so forth.

The main problem is that the rear locking tab is grossly misplaced, so far misplaced that it couldn't have failed to trip even the most rudimentary QC checks at any point in the process. The fold lines also look off, resulting in a case totally out of alignment. Sorry, but when I look at it it just screams NQR.

Turning to the video, even when correct and correctly done the iPad is unstable when placed in that position. It's simply not meant to be used that way and doing so usually results in it eventually toppling over, one time into the bathtub. And yes, that actually happened. . . . .

Bearing in mind the comments of Chris CA, if it is a real Apple case, then Maccenter are the authorised agents for warranty work: Siam Discovery, Fortune Town and Rama 3 (behind Tesco).

Yes it is designed & meant to be used that way. But also, yes, it is not very stable.

Chris, you're right and I do stand corrected. I had looked around some time ago, at about the time of the "It fell in the tub!" thread, and hadn't seen any pics showing that use. Maybe I missed it, maybe it's new, but for sure they are now implying you can use it that way.

Still doesn't look like an Apple Case to me, though.
