Adjusting brightness on win7 PC

Sorry if this has been asked before but are apple going to release support for a control panel for windows 7 on a PC?
I wish to be able to adjust the brightness.
I'm running Win 7 with an ATI 5950 and i have the acd27 plugged into the mini display port on the ATI card and the usb plugged in. The sound works and the 3 USB slots work fine.
