Q: Shake icon

Not a huge deal, but annoying. After installing Final cut Studio, my Shake icon is blank now. Will someone be so kind and school me on how to restore it.

If that fails, here's a text file that I pasted the Shake icon into:

http://howtocheatinmotion.com/viewing/shakeicon.zip

After you unzip this, in the finder, select this text file, type ⌘i, select the small icon image in the info window, ⌘c (copy), then select your Shake application, ⌘i, select the small icon image in the info window, ⌘v (paste)

post back if that helps...

OK. I'm trying to figure out how to add an attachment here on the forums. I shall return.
But the actual icon is; 2 white pieces of paper, a pencil and a paint brush, with 'shake' written on top.
It looks like an icon from the sdk.

That's a generic application icon. So it sounds like you are talking about
the icon for the Shake application. That is usually located here:
/Applications/shake/shake.app/Contents/Resources/shake.icns

So you're saying the Final Cut install made it impossible for the
Shake app to find its icon. Weird. Try repairing permissions on
your boot drive.

Thank you, stuckfootage and Patrick for your help. Patrick's solution seemed easiest so I went straight there and it worked. Didn't know you could do that in the info window:-)
