Q: Only some of my users can login to Final Cut Server.

HI,
I'm having an issue with Final Cut Server 1.5.x, running on Mac 10.6.6 server. The issue I'm having is that only some of my accounts can login to Final Cut Server. They can all login to Mac Server no problem. I'm stuck, I have no clue why.
Here is what comes up on the "Secure Log" when I try to login with one of the accounts that can't login to Final Cut Server:

"/Library/Application Support/Final Cut Server/Final Cut Server.bundle/Contents/MacOS/fcsvr_stored[114]: pps proxy error: dsDoDirNodeAuth = -14091"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your directory authentication isn't resolving properly.

Are you using AD or OD?

Is Kerberos set up properly everywhere?

Is DNS set up properly everywhere?

If AD, did you follow all the steps in the setup guide?

Go over all your settings and see if something got missed.

You are correct! I just fixed this today about 5mins ago! Some of my users passwords in Workgroup Manager, were for some odd reason, set to "Crypt" instead of "Open Directory". Once I changed them to "Open Directory", they all started working.
