Are you using AD or OD?
Is Kerberos set up properly everywhere?
Is DNS set up properly everywhere?
If AD, did you follow all the steps in the setup guide?
Go over all your settings and see if something got missed. -

Some of my users passwords in Workgroup Manager, were for some odd reason, set to "Crypt" instead of "Open Directory". Once I changed them to "Open Directory", they all started working.
