many questions about a happy change

At first, sorry for my bad english.
I have a ipod mini and i enjoy many time with it, but in this holidays i want to change to ipod video 30 gb.
if i buy it, its necessary uninstall itunes? or when i connect ipod video to my pc the pc recognize it without problems?
When you buy ipod video this is ready for transfer pictures from your pc or is neccesary install any program that not come with the ipod video?
For transfer dvd movies to ipod video is enough with quicktime pro version? is legal transfer dvd movies to ipod?
The ac charger adaptor of ipod mini is compatible with ipod video?
The picture quality of screen of ipod video is better that the screen of a good digital camera, o videocamera?
The battery of ipod video is interchangeable by the user?

- It is not necessary to uninstall itunes but you may need to update itunes, you can do this at
http://www.apple.com/itunes

- No the software for transferring pictures is included in itunes

- quicktime pro will not transfer DVD's to the ipod, and as far as I know it is illegal to coppy a DVD to a digital device

- it depends on the quality of the video but the Ipod supports High definition video, so yes
