Facetime between Verizon and AT&T iPhones?

Question

Facetime between Verizon and AT&T iPhones?

Will Face time work between accounts for iPhone with different cell phone carriers?
Such as Verizon and AT&T. In other words if I have an Account through AT&T and
my friend uses VerIzon Will we be able to use the FaceTime feature?

As the Verizon iphone has not been released yet, likely no one has tried it, but it is should work fine ad iphone can facetime to ipod and Macs.

If verizon does not support simultaneous voice and data usage, how could facetime function properly? Isn't the video using wifi? Or is it data through the cellular connection that is not simultaneous?

Because Facetime uses wifi and not cellular for audio and video. Also, the VZW iPhone can use data and voice simultaneously if the data is routed over wifi.
