Download photos from iPhone 4 without syncing via cable

Have an iPhone which won't sync with a cable and apple agreed to replace the phone but since I can't sync, I am unable to download the photos.

Apple Genius recommended select photos and emailing them but with over 1000 photos, it's a tough task.

Any suggestions?

Have both pc and mac

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

The only thing I can suggest is bumping them to another device like iPod, but I'd say that would be as tedious.

Do you not have most of them backed up already?

How did you end up with 100 photos on your iphone that were not on your computer?

Pics taken with iphone should be imported regularly.

Other than email or one of the pic transfer apps in the app store, but they only work iPhone to iPhone. Look at Picasa, they may have an iPhone app that uploads to the cloud.
