I've been a loyal Verizon customer for nearly fifteen years.
I've never had my credit checked by them whenever I upgraded my phones, because
I've been with them for so long and always paid my bill.

With the new iPhone, however, does anyone know if Verizon will start running credit checks, even on current Verizon customers?

Only Verizon would know ( if anyone) what they may be doing in the future.

    Call them and ask.

Not sure why Verizon would spend money running a credit check on an existing long term subscriber who has always paid their monthly bill in full and on time for the iPhone. If Verizon has not done this when purchasing a new iPhone at Verizon's upgrade or subsidized price, not sure why they would start now.
