How do I view clip proxies while in 'list' view?

How do I view clip proxies while in 'list' view?

Why can't I view clip proxies while in 'list' view? The icon is there on the left, but does nothing. It's driving me insane. Is this a known bug?

8-Core Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.3), 20GB Ram, SSD Boot Drive, Kona 3 card

Strange that is not enabled.

FYI... you can just right click, select view/proxy.

Thanks, but right-clicking then choosing view then proxy is way too cumbersome when your trying to view lots of clips quickly. It seems like it should work, I mean the asset icon is right there, it just doesn't do anything. I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to make this work.

The icon in list view unfortunately does not open the proxy. Hopefully we'll have an update soon to make it work that way.
