Jan 12, 2011 9:24 PM in response to Taylorzunoby Ziatron,Should I just try another time??
I wouldn't, I have found that the physical possession of the software on a DVD or CD is a better way to go.
In the event you have a computer problem and must rebuild your system or reinstall software, it is always easier to do so if you have the physical media in your possession.
I would spend a few dollars more and purchase the iLife 11 disc. -

Jan 24, 2012 11:02 AM in response to HeikoSchby killhippie,I have this error as well, I contacted the app store and they said talk to support, who said talk to app store This is part of my iLife package that came with my computer and it just gets to about a minute to go keeps trying to download then comes up with 'Hash mismatch' error. All other apps installed fine.

Jan 25, 2012 2:46 AM in response to killhippieby jottlieb,I have the same problem. I'm not able to install iMovie '11. One Mac (Lion) says "Hash mismatch", another (Snow Leopard) says "The application you tried to download could not be downloaded. Check your internet connection and try again". And yes I did this dozens of times.

Jan 25, 2012 5:50 AM in response to jottliebby killhippie,I managed to speak to a senior tech today who is escalating this after I emailed him the video of the download going up and down, it could be a checksum problem with the app he said. Either way they will contact me by Friday at the latest .iMovie 11 came with my iMac (had to reinstal Lion) so without the download I don't have all my apps, and apart from iPhoto this is the one I use the most.

Jan 26, 2012 12:30 AM in response to Taylorzunoby PelleL,Well I'm sitting on a 1Gb wired connection and do get the "hasch mismatch". It can't be the connection.

Jan 26, 2012 1:06 AM in response to PelleLby killhippie,Contact Support, thats what I have done for both App store and regular support, explain what's going on, the more people do the faster they will sort it out hopefully. posting here shows the problem well enough, but Apple need to know themselves.

Jan 26, 2012 3:53 AM in response to Taylorzunoby Killkrt,Same problem here! iMovie 11 cannot be downloaded, when the download reaches about 598MB it automatically restarts from 580MB!!!
I've already contacted Apple Support (yesterday), but I have so far received no answer!

Jan 26, 2012 4:02 AM in response to Killkrtby Monsieur Lalique,Hej!
That's my own problem too. Just a short update from (germans) Apple Support. They returned the order, i'll get my money back. And they told to wait four weeks and to buy it again. Then they think fixed it.
Sounds a bit unprofessional, but the good one: Apple kno there is a problem.
Stay in touch with my own post.
