Q: Viewing Custom Transcode Settings in Automation Setup Assista

Hi all,

I am attempting to setup Final Cut Server at work and having a couple of issues.

I have managed to setup a custom transcode setting and can view this from the final cut server client fine. But now i want to add it to an Automation and am unable to see it in the 'Transcode source to:' drop down in the setup assistant. Is this possible?

Hope i have explained myself ok but let me know if you need any details,

Administrators Guide, chapter 6. Make a new preset in Compressor, then go into FCSvr's Admin window, Transcode Settings, create a new one, name it in the Create pane, select the custom you just made in Compressor in the Parameters pane.

Thanks for the comment. I went through the whole process again and found i had to select the custom transcode when setting up a new device in the Device tab.
