Transferring photos from iPhoto to iPad

What is the easiest way to get a single photo from iPhoto to iPad? I see that I can send groups of photos by using sync utilities in iTunes, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do transfer a single photo. Please advise.

Hi Jack. One quick way to send one single photo from computer to iPad is to email it to yourself or to transfer it with an app like 'Photo Transfer App' (Disclaimer: I'm the developer of the app). For both ways you need to first drag and drop the photo out of iPhoto to a folder on your computer, then you can email it to yourself and save it to your iPad using the mail app or you could use our app to transfer it directly to your iPad (all photos will be saved to the 'Saved photos' album). Here is the link to our website where you can see how the app works: http://www.phototransferapp.com/

I hope this is useful to you.

Cheers

Hello iPad friends,

You can transfer photos (and other media) from iPhoto, or any folder on the computer, by connecting the iPad to the Mac and launching iTunes. (For ease of selection, I created an album with the desired photos). Select the iPad in the left hand column and then click on the Photos tab at the top of the right hand pane. Check the box to Sync Photos from "iPhoto" and selec the specific album, event, or faces. In the bottom right corner of iTunes, select Sync. This will begin the process of syncing the selected photos from iPhoto to your iPad. When you open your Photos app on th iPad, you should see your album. Hope this helps. 🙂DC
