iPad iOS 4 can't select VPN settings

I set cisco VPN settings and now I can't select the VPN settings anymore.
Under settings when I select VPN it does not respond to the click.
Any idea on how to get back to a state where I can update the settings?
This is an iPad upgraded to iOS 4.0 wifi only
