Feb 16, 2011 4:44 AM in response to segi_chby segi_ch,Reinstalled the 10.6.6 again, and now it works again -
Feb 17, 2011 1:02 AM in response to segi_chby Robert Hancock3,Here's another weird update problem—I bought an application about 2 weeks ago; I am in close contact with the developer regarding bug fixes and he posted a bugfix to Apple on Sunday 13 February—4 business days later it has still not shown up in Updates! I am not sure whether this because Apple is checking the already approved code again and it's stuck in a long queue or because updates are not working or what. -
Feb 27, 2011 6:52 AM in response to segi_chby isoemac,I was also having the problem that updates would immediately show available for apps after I ran the Mac App Store updater. I tried deleting the apps and reinstalling them and the updates would still show available.
I have a hard disk attached to my iMac with a cloned copy of my applications. I deleted the apps from the cloned copy and ran the updater. Success! The update page now displays that all apps are up to date. -

Mar 22, 2011 10:20 AM in response to Cyvilxby george.e.gonzalez,I too am now experiencing the same issue with the Twitter app. The issue seems to have come up as a result of the 10.6.7 update. -
Mar 22, 2011 4:27 PM in response to Macsterguyby Nicroma,I too am having this problem. I used the combo update for 10.6.7 hoping to clear up the issue, but it's still there. The application is Evernote. I've tried deleting it and the update still appears in the App Store. -

Mar 24, 2011 2:33 PM in response to techtiggerby Mrmgee,i have the problem with Evernote. I have tried just about everything. -
Mar 24, 2011 3:04 PM in response to Macsterguyby Andrew J,Exactly the same problem here with Virusbarrier. I don't think it has anything to do with specific apps, it looks like a bug in the app store app. I sent a report to Apple but the reply didn't even address the question. App store seems to have an issue with my id password also. It keeps asking me for my password when I navigate my account details. I think this one has their heads scratching with no answer in sight. -

Annoying App: Twitter 2.0.2
Twitter App was deleted, purged, re-installed. But allways get the Update notification for Twitter 2.0.2 ;-( -
Mar 28, 2011 10:43 AM in response to Macsterguyby tinydog,Just adding my name to the list of Twitter 2.0.2 endless update notification victims. I deleted the app along with all plists, receipts, etc. restarted the Mac and reinstalled Twitter via the app store. The indelible (and at this point maddening) update notification persists.
