Cant get my music or new ringtones on my phone

I just got a new laptop and I downloaded new music and made new ringtones. I tried to drag them into my phone on iTunes and it wont let me. It has the circle with the line through it when I am over it. The apple people told me I had to sync it a certain way, but since I'm not gonna pay 70 bucks for phone support, they cant help me. Can someone please tell me how to fix it?

Iphone will sync/manually manage music with one and only one computer.

If you have not synced to the new computer, then this is the problem.

Sync to the new computer. You should then be able to use this computer.

Have you changed to manually manage music?

You cannot drag and drop if you are syncing. You have to select manually manage.

Try a different browser. The link is fine.

You check the manually manage music box in the summary tab.

If you manually manage and the iphone crashes or you have to restore, then you will have to drag all music to the iphone again.

I much prefer syncing playlists as I can simply sync the playlists back to the iphone quickly and easily if need be.
